Spring has been so nice here this year that I’m actually feeling like summer is just a few weeks away. What better way to start the “Summer Glow” than with Lancome’s Bronze Riviera collection. The look is so French Riviera chic and sophisticated – taking us back in time when beauty seemed so effortless yet beautiful. The collection is made up of mineral blushes and bronzers and sheer glosses.

I love the idea of this Tropiques Minerale Magic Bronzing Brush– the bronzer in the tube with the built-in brush. Take your bronzer with you anywhere so you have that summer glow instantly. $33
Ageless Minerale Blush in the loose powder available in three new shades of Sparkling Sand, Brilliant Berry and Luminous Rose. $29.50
Juicy Tubes 100% Natural Origin– to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Juicy Tubes, Lancome has made this limited edition in four shades – Pink Precious, Blushing Beauty, Rose Pretty and Sheerfully Sweet. 100% natural from the ingredients from the coloring to the fragrance and flavoring and carton. $18 ea.
But the pièce de résistance is the Tropiques Minerale Bamboo Bronzer. Just look at how lovely it is!
Seriously, how gorgeous is this! It’s so beautiful one is tempted not to use it, but go ahead and put that beauty on your face and body. Measuring at a whopping 4 1/2″ in diameter it’s easy to use a large brush and sweep all the colors together over the face or decollete. Or use a smaller brush and pinpoint the areas in which you which to highlight by capturing the darker bronze of the bamboo image, or the pink/coral shade of the glowing sunset, or the overall bronze with luscious golden highlights. This bronzing palette really took my breath away when I first saw it and it continues to keep me in awe! $45
The line is rounded out with a few additional products. The eye shadow palette with 6 very wearable pretty colors – a palette I must check out next time I hit the Lancome counter, and the nail polish in a hot pink shade called Ms Perfectly Pink.
If this is what we have to look forward to this summer, I say bring it on!
Lancome sent me bronzer.

Kari, I purchased the shadow palette. The colors are so pretty when applied. The humongous and exquisite bronzer, though, is the centerpiece of the collection. I love everything about it. It’s also a bargain at $45. Another line had a similarly sized one last summer – also very classy – and it was $75. And there wasn’t a tree! 🙂
