The AMOREPACIFICskin care line is a Korean company that has been around for over 60 years. They believe in a holistic approach to health and beauty and are the only skin care company in the world to own and operate its own green tea gardens, which are located on Jeju Island off the coast of Korea. They deliver skin wellness with a combination of nutrient-rich Asian botanicals and cutting edge technology. I tested some of the luxury products and they are scented with a nice, pretty scent and beautifully packaged.
Treatment Cleansing Oil $50 – It is lightly scented and does a thorough job of cleaning all makeup and dirt off. It leaves your skin very soft and smooth, not oily. As far as cleansing oils go, I really like this one.
Time Response Eye Cream $250 – Made with powerful ingredients to keep the skin around your eyes wrinkle-free, firm and hydrated. Personally, I did not notice any remarkable changes in my eye area, but read below for another opinion.
Time Response Gel Cream $400 – A lightweight gel cream that is lovely scented, moisturizing and full of potent treatment ingredients. For my dry skin I liked this, but the gel formula was not moisturizing enough for me in the fall and winter. I feel it would suit my skin for summer better, when it is more normal/oily. However, I did like it – it just wasn’t enough for me at this time.
Treatment Enzyme Peel $60 – This was my favorite product in the line. It’s a powder that is pre-measured in the lid so you never get more than needed. Mix it with water and this apply to your skin. It is made with papain (green papaya) enzymes in a soothing milk base, and Allatoin and green tea for anti-oxidants exfoliates, evens the skin, makes it super-soft, and I love this!
Time Response Skin Renewal Foundation with SPF 18 $90 – I did not test this as the shade sent to me was much too light in color. But, I do like the fact that it has SPF 18, EGCG which stimulates the production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid to improve volume, texture, firmness and elasticity. All things that women over 40 need to improve the look of their skin.
Moisture Bound Skin Energy $60 – A moisturizing mist to delicately spray your face keeping it hydrated and soft. A wonderful thing in the winter when buildings are dry and basically moisture free. Perfect to keep on your desk and mist throughout the day. It restores moisture balance to your skin and has the benefits of amino acids, iron, magnesium, potassium and calcium. Travel size is also available for $35.
Overall I think this is a great line. Expensive, yes. But if you are looking for important ingredients and some natural ingredients in your skin care and have the bucks to fork over, this may be the line for you.
I received the samples at a time when my skin was very dry and the gel cream was not enough for me and my sister asked me if I had a moisturizer for her I could recommend. Since she isn’t as dry skinned as I am, I gave this to her to try – all the AMOREPACIFIC products that were sent to me (except the peel). I was worried she wouldn’t like the cleansing oil, but she called me two days later to say she absolutely loved how it made her face feel; clean and so soft. Then a few days after she called me to say that the eye cream was making a huge difference in her eye area only after a week! She felt she had less puffiness and her eyes didn’t look so tired and wrinkled as they had before. She was amazed at the change in her skin in just one week!
Now the other day she called to ask me where she can get more of the moisturizing gel cream as she’s never used a product line so wonderful. It’s available at Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, some select Sephora stores. When I told her the price, there was a gasp and hesitation.

They also make a cream formula for Time Response, you must try!! Perfect for dry skin! Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely!!
