One of my favorite things about holiday beauty, besides the colors, exclusive sets and more, are the beautiful packaging of products.  Like this Chanel Lip Gloss Trio, I mean, how beautiful is this! What a perfect way to get the kisser ready for the mistletoe!

Chanel doesn’t seem to ever have any “specials” for their holiday sets on the actual product, but they will throw in a beautiful bag like this deep Coco Red velvet bag. It’s one that’s totally usable to use as a clutch for a party or on your vanity to store makeup. Honestly, I will buy these Chanel Lip  glosses over and over again. They are some of my absolute favorites as they don’t have a disgusting taste nor are they sticky. That deserves a high five!  Wait, does anyone do that anymore? 

This lipgloss trio contains 3 extremely wearable shades making it perfect to keep all 3 for yourself, or give a few for gifts and keep the third and the bag for your own gift!

The shades included from left to right (shown above) are Subtil #744, Noce Moscata #722 and Bourgeoisie #119.

Any of these shades of Chanel Lip glosses are wearable alone and still give you color on the lips, or you can layer over a lipstick to create your own custom shade. Subtil is definitely one that is one that can be worn alone.  It’s a coral/peach shimmer that is strong enough that the color shows without anything underneath.  Noce Moscata is the most neutral and least shimmery of the 3 and perfect for layering or if you are looking for a nude lip it’s not too dark, not too light, but just right! It’s a mauve/brown shade that works well to give the lips a little color without that “dead” shade on my lips.  The Bourgeoisie shade is a really pretty soft plum shimmer shade.  Again, not too much shimmer and it has enough depth of color to wear alone or if you want a deeper shade, layer it!
