The Chanel Holiday 2010 is starting to appear at the counters.   I love their holiday gift sets.   This is one of several they have this year, Lexs Deux Levres Scintillates.  It comes in the classic Chanel box and inside you’ll find a beauty case with two Glossimer glosses and a mini lip pencil and a sharpener. 

This is the case that comes with the set.   A perfect size for a handbag, it’s a semi-hard patent case.   It fits the two glosses and liner and sharpener inside, but there’s plenty of room for a few other items to add as well.  

The two Glossimer shades are Muscat and Wild Rose and come in full size. 

The lip pencil is smaller than the full-sized ones, but not so tiny that it doesn’t fit in your hand.   This comes in the nude shade.   Also included is a pencil sharpener. 

Chanel glosses are some of my favorite glosses.  Never very sticky, no unruly scents and the applicators are easy to use.   Shown above are the colors swatched.  On top is the Nude liner  – a pinky brown shade that mimics the lip shade of many women.  Below that is 85 Muscat a nude with a hint of peach/pink and 119 Wild Rose a soft pinky/rose.  The Muscat shade is great with a smoky eye or as a topper to a darker lipstick.  The Wild Rose shade is great on its own for a pretty day look.  

Purchasing the set at $51 is less than buying two glosses separately, so it’s like getting a discount on those and getting the bag and liner for free!   What could be more classy than to take out of your handbag a beautiful little bag that says CHANEL.
