Fabulous Over Forty – Where Beauty Is Ageless

Remember my post on Zoya Truth or Dare and about how excited I was to see the new Zoya Collection ?   Well here it is!   And it’s just as lovely in person as I had hoped.  

The Truth shades are warmer shades with varying degrees of shimmer.   I think Salma and Isla are my favorite in this group.   L-R Penny, Kalmia, Salma, Isla, Anaka, Drew

The Dare shades are deeper, cooler shades and all are gorgeous!  L-R Demi, Vanessa, Ciara, Pinta, Envy, Ibiza.

Now some of them might be difficult for us “Over 40″ gals, but hey, there’s nothing wrong with putting it on your toes if you aren’t willing to be daring.   I put on the shade Vanessa today and got compliments from co-workers.  It might just be my favorite shade of the collection.

The summer hit us hard here in the last week or so making it difficult to think of fall.   But these Zoya MatteVelvet nail polishes are calling my name!   

I usually am more reserved in my polish choices, so I am surprised the shades Loredana and Dovima are calling my name.   Possibly the toes?  But the Posh shade would be great for my fingers.   What do you think of these new polishes – not only the color, but the matte finish as well?

I recall in my childhood sitting around the campfire in the summer nights playing Truth or Dare.   Did you ever play?   Oh the decision of which one to go with was agonizing!

Now Zoya is making me come up with the decision all over again!  Their new fall collection is called Truth or Dare and these colors all look so lovely I may choose both Truth and Dare!

I’ve become obsessed with nail polishes lately because I’ve decided to grow out my gel nails.  I’ve been doing gels for years, and finally decided, enough.   The only reason I ever did them was I was “guaranteed” a nice looking manicure for about 2 weeks or more, and I never had the time to do my nails every few days.   I’m about 3 weeks into the new growth and honestly, my nails look horrible.   So I am hoping that when this new collection comes out July 15th, I’ll have perfectly groomed nails and I can use one of these gorgeous colors to christen my “new” nails.
