Michelle Obama’s European Looks

2009 NATO Summit

Have you been following Michelle Obama’s every look during their European tour?   If you haven’t, you might be the only one in the world!

Many of her outfits have been very stylish and beautiful – others not (the teal blue skirt and partial argyle sweater -not).    But so far in all her glamourousness, (is that even a word?)  I have to say I love this hair and makeup look the most.

The bangs swept to the side, but covering her forehead rather than stiff and off to the side, this hairstyle is soft, looks touchable and appears to move with her.

Michelle’s makeup is always polished and appropriate, but I love her smoky eye in this photo.  She also has a little more color on her cheeks than usual, and a shiny gloss to top it all off.

What has been  your favorite Michelle look so far?

Michelle Obama Inaugural Ball Dress

Michelle Obama has shown nothing less than class and fashion that is so “today”.   I love her style that she has shown throughout the campaign and now the inaugural events.   She exemplifies beauty for a fabulous over forty woman.  And the first children – could you just die at how adorable and beautiful they looked in their J. Crew?  I LOVE it!

Finally it was revealed that Jason Wu was the designer she wore tonight at the anticipated Neighborhood Ball.   She looked beautiful in the one shoulder, flowy dress with a slight train.  She looked comfortable and relaxed and ready to have fun through all 10 inaugural balls.    And the best part?  President Obama thought she looked beautiful and he let the world know.

I’m on the fence whether I liked this dress or not – was it sophisticated enough?   Or was it just so new and fresh looking that I don’t know if I’m quite there or not.   I’d love to hear your opinions.

Michelle Obama’s Inaugural Dresses

Barack Obama Is Sworn In As 44th President Of The United States
According to WWD.com
First Lady-to-be Michelle Obama will wear an outfit by Isabel Toledo at the swearing-in of her husband Barack Obama as the nation’s 44th president on Capitol Hill this morning, her office said today. There were no details of the outfit provided by Michelle Obama’s office, which has been tight-lipped about her fashion choices for the historic events today. Toledo is a Cuban-born designer who has worked under her own name for more than 20 years and briefly served as creative director for Anne Klein. Michelle Obama has worn her designs in the past during the presidential campaign. Her choice continues a penchant for the First Lady-to-be for designers of Cuban heritage – Michelle Obama wore two outfits by Narciso Rodriguez to the pre-inaugural events on Sunday.
Now, we all await – what will she wear for the Inaugural Ball, who will do her hair and makeup.  Stay tuned!
