Bobbi Brown Brights Eye Palette
I’m sure you’ve seen the new Bobbi Brown Brights Eye Palette plastered all over the internet. “Wow! A Punch of Color! Love it! Exciting!” These are all words that have been used to describe this palette. But honestly, it’s not for me.
Yes, the colors are extremely vibrant and fun and wow. But maybe I haven’t tapped into that inner runway girl. To me these shades are something like the wild colors you’d see on the catwalk, and in fact they are. Bobbi used these colors for Fashion Week last fall. It truly is a walk out of the safe, nude looks that she is known for and she seems to be tapping into her younger inner spirit.
If you choose to buy this, my suggestion is to use sparingly otherwise you risk looking clown-like if you’re over 40. Use the darker shades as a liner possibly. But I was shocked at the price and small size of this palette – each section is bigger than a credit card, but not much. The price? $70
Don’t get me wrong, I love Bobbi Brown! But I think I’ll wait for her next collection to see what innovative thing she comes up with.
