I was introduced to V’Radiance Skincare by an acquaintance who has used the products for quite some time and raved about the Day and Night creams. She told me they were created by a dermatologist from Canada and that the ingredients were a better grade quality than OTC products and very effective, and offered me to try them. I used the products for several weeks and am completely behind on my skin care reviews as of late!
The premise of the line is that most of our aging comes from sun damage. Sun damages causes a chemical interaction between the sunlight and our skin causing the skin to progressively wrinkle and visibly age. There are three antioxidants that can repair and protect from sun damage and they are Vitamins A, C & E. V’Radiance combines these vitamins with mineral zinc to protect against the damaging effects of the sun and reduce the appearance of age spots and blotchiness.
V’Radiance Skincare claims that you will see results in continual use of the products such as fine lines around the lips and eyes within 6 weeks; coarse lines, nasolabial folds, cheeks, eyes and more show a marked improvement within a year’s time and beyond that there should be improvement in lax skin around the jowls, neck and eyes. I used this for at least the 6 week time frame and at that point noticed the fine lines around my mouth and cheeks were definitely less prominent and my skin felt more firm.
The Day Cream texture is almost a serum-like weight. It’s a yellow toned lotion that I did have to shake it before using to keep from separating. The Night Cream is like a meringue whipped weight and bright yellow in color. The Day Cream contains the Vitamins C & E and the Night Cream has the Vitamins A & E. Vitamin E is good for calming the skin and building an environmental barrier for the skin. Vitamin C is good for repairing sun damage and to build up a barrier in the skin against future sun damage. Vitamin A is good for working to repair sun spots and wrinkles. All these offer a great combination of protection and repair for the skin.
