Performance Skincare

One of the newest skincare pieces in the Shiseido Bio-Performance line is Advanced Super Restoring Cream.  It claims a tri-dynamic lift: reshape, re-firm and re-smooth deep wrinkles. Now that’s something many over 40 women could use, right?!  It contains rose apple leaf extract to protect fibroblasts from harmful effects such as UV rays, and works to prevent damage and maintain youthful skin.  It also contains Super Bio-Hyaluronic Acid N which supplies a high level of moisture in the skin.  The Bio-Renewal Complex claims to rejuvenate the functions of master cells, located in the skin’s core layer, lifting the skin around the facial contour, keeping skin firm and resilient while smoothing deep wrinkles.

A fab over 40 woman, B.L. has been testing this and using the product for review.  Here’s what she had to say about the new Shiseido Advanced Super Restoring Cream.

I have heard good things about Shiseido skincare, but I have never used the products before. I have really dry skin, but I do not particularly care for creams that are heavy – I don’t like how they feel on my skin, especially ones that don’t really absorb quickly or feel like I have a coating of something on my face.  That said, I do need something that will keep my skin moisturized, as it looks more dry and ages me when it’s really dry.  I am happy to report that even though the texture of this is a thicker weight, it felt really good on my dry skin and it did absorb quite quickly. I did not feel like I had a coating of anything left on my face and my makeup applied very nicely over the cream. Does it lift or firm my skin? I’m not so sure about lifting, but my skin definitely felt more firm and my wrinkles were less deep and were softened, which I really liked. Overall, I am very please with this cream and will purchase it when it is gone.
