Several weeks ago I had run out of my usual drug store brand of moisturizer and ran to Target to replenish. Only the Aveeno Eczema Therapy caught my eye. I thought, well, I’m an Aveeno Ambassador and I’ve loved nearly everything I’ve tried from them so why not give this lotion a try. Besides, the temperature outside had dropped dramatically, which means my skin becomes dry quite quickly and my eczema can flare up more easily.
Typically when you think of an cream for eczema it’s quite thick that can turn a lot of people off. So I was quite surprised when I used this and it was so lightweight. The formula is almost gel-like and not a heavy cream that I was anticipating. There’s no fragrance, it absorbs quickly and feels great on my skin. What’s not to like about that?!
The price is a little heftier than the average drug store hand cream at around $12 a 7.3 oz tube. Target had a $1.00 off sticker on the tube when I bought it – another reason I gave it a try at first. But, it works wonders and is a much better value than a “designer” cream for eczema which can run around $50.
It contains Colloidal Oatmeal – Aveeno’s known for that, and it’s steroid and fragrance free – which are great to not have those irritants for sensitive, dry skin. I now need to replenish this, it’s that good.
Disclosure: Fab Over Forty is an Aveeno Ambassador and this product was purchased.

Mine has flared-up big time already, so I’m pretty concerned about what actual “winter” is going to look like. I am willing to try anything that could help, so you can be sure I’ll be buying this! (I’ll let you know what I think of it.)
Yes, I’d love to hear your opinion as well – I REALLY like it! Oh, and Ellen says “HI”
This stuff is a life saver for me. I have Keratosis pilaris (those annoying red bumps on my arms) and it gives me a lot of relief. Thanks for reminding me to pick more up, especially with the new chill in the air!
Good to know that helps it as well.
Hi there
Any idea if it is selling in Asia??
Thanks.
I will ask Aveeno and let you know when they respond!
It’s available in Korea only at this time and it’s called Ato Relief
