The best gift I ever received was this past Christmas. I am single and live in Manhattan. My mother and stepfather split their time between Florida and New York. My mom had parties and plans throughout the Christmas and New Year’s holiday in Florida. I have been feeling extremely depressed for the past few weels. A few days before Christmas, I heard a knock on my door and to my surprise, there was my mom, who had given up all her plans and flew into an extremely cold New York to spend the next 10 days with me. The presents she brought for me are still wrapped sitting in my living room. To me, they are meaningless. Having mom around and her allowing me to just be a kid again for a week, was just what the doctor ordered. I feel very privileged and blessed to have received the gift of selfless love from the best mother in the world.Oh and by the way, did I mention that I’m 47 years old!!!!!.

Looking back now, I’d have to say the best gift I ever got for Christmas was the cheesy Salad Shooter my hubby bought me. It turned out to be the best gift ever because we had so many laughs over it!!! Good Memories!!!

My favorite holiday gift was when my friends gifted me a box..filled with comments of why they were my friends..and what i meant to them..i treasure that box like anything!!
