We usually don’t do anything special for Valentine’s Day! This year I am getting my hair cut and colored that night–that is special for me!!!
In the past we have gotten engaged on Valentine’s Day (14 yrs ago) but ever since we just try to have a nice dinner at home (if it is a weekday) or sometimes we will go out. This year I think we will eat in and that is about it.
We like to spend the evening in, making something we don’t usually eat and share a great bottle of wine.
We generally exchange cards and perhaps something small and sweet (I’ve done coookie grams in the past)…but with a 3 year old in the picture, going out to dinner isn’t usually in the cards! LOL

I’m spending Valentine’s Day with my bf which always makes it special.
We always celebrate Valentine’s Day in a big way because it is one more opportunity to say how much love is in our hearts for each other and our children. I love these types of holidays and opportunities!
I like to give my children Valentine treats and I make their cards as well. I also make a card for my husband and I make a special gift basket full of his favorite chocolates/treats!
I’m spending VD at work, then going home to make my fabulous teenage boys dinner! Sorry I missed you guys last weekend!!!

Well, we used to do something romantic for Valentine’s Day, but with three kids, I now spend the day going to loud, sugar filled kids parties!
I’ll be watching tv and reading a book this year. Don’t feel bad for me, but after devoting myself to my husband for the past almost 20 years, he decided he wants a divorce. Some men are just not right. I know a lot of men are really great though, so I do wish everyone a wonderful Valentine’s Day full of giving and getting Love!
I got little guys at home so we will bake delicious red velvet cupcakes & watch a cute romantic comedy of my choice! Yay!

I won’t be doing anything out of the ordinary. I am thinking about going to to the movies to see The Lady in Black. Talk about an oxymoron-a horror flick on the day meant for lovers.
We usually try to go out for a nice dinner sometime around Valentine’s Day. Not on the actual day-it’s just too busy!
My hubby and I usually go on a fun date. I love doing fondue for v-day and a movie. Great necklace!
We will be continents away from each other, so Skyping will be on our agenda! A nice quiet dinner out when he returns!

I will be taking Valetine’s Day off to join my kindergartner in his class party and also to make a special treat for my hubby/kids and decorate the house. Since it’s on a school night this year, I will try to make it special for the whole family. I also get little gifts for all of them. My mom always made a big deal for Valentine’s Day so I try to do the same for my kids.
We adjusted our schedules for a few days off. Instead of having a romantic dinner at our favorite restaurant, this year we’re going to a bed and breakfast and will have a cozy romantic dinner somewhere new and some quality alone time.
we used to go to dinner at a really expensive restaurant, but, now, with all the bad things that have happened to us, we’ll probably have a frozen pizza! so i would love to win this necklace! this was NOT a sob story to get the prize!
I will be sending emails and phone calls to my children who have left home and are living on their own. Reminding them how loved they are, and will then plan a romantic dinner with my husband at our favorite small restaurant.

My husband’s birthday is on St. Valentine’s Day so it’s a double celebration. This year I’ve booked (as a surprise) a dinner/cruise going round and around the NY harbor with music/dancing. A good memory to savor forever. Hoping for calm waters though, oops!

My husband does not believe in or acknowledge Valentine’s Day. He says it’s just a holiday created by Hallmark to get more business. I know one year, years ago, I got flowers from him but that’s been it. My mom usually gets me flowers though! I like to get my kids something special.

Valentine’s Day has always been a special day for me! I remember when my Dad used to get us heart shaped boxes filled with chocolates when we were little. I had two sisters and he made sure each one was different for each of us! My Mom would get the huge box with lovely decorations. He is no longer with us, yet I still remember how proud he was to give his “girls” his gifts of Love each year! Thanks Dad…Love you!!

I am going to send loving inspirational messages to Facebook peeps, family and friends. Play with my cat. Organic coffee with coca powder, nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, cloves and ginger and a tablespoon of coconut milk with breakfast and snack. Nice homemade breakfast and lunch/dinner combo. Tiny cup of Turkish black tea with jasmine green tea after lunch. A chocolate homemade dessert. Bubble bath with body cream and body powder after. Pretty makeup, hairstyle and outfit. Walk outside, take photos. Dance workout at home. Listen to some love songs, watch romance movie and read in bed!
My Husband is career military and for the last 10 years or so it’s been very difficult for us to share valentines day together (either he’s deployed or training or etc.) so it’s a big deal to us. We are either going to go down to have dinner with an ocean view on the North Shore of Oahu or we will go in the opposite direction to Honolulu for the same type of dinner. (no kids! whoohooo).
Celebrate Valentines Day! Relaxing bath to start the day, looking my best pamper my lover with beautiful food set on a decorated table. And lots of hugs and kisses plus silly cards!
I will make a special valentines dessert for the family and hopefully they will take me out for lunch or dinner!
Make romantic, gourmet dinner with my husband, eat next to fireplace, lots of candles, sexy music, good chocolate, good red wine….
I am single right now,but I always give a card ans small box of candy to my boys,even though they are older.
Working and having children all over the house – it’s tough to celebrate Valentine’s Day the way we’d like….so, I make a wonderful dinner of my husband’s favorite foods – then quietly reflect on how fortunate I am to have so much love in my life!!!
We will spend it making a special dinner for 90+ year old parents.

My husband and I have been married 43 years and we have found that it’s more fun at this stage to celebrate “anti-valentines day. We really have fun with it so I never know what to expect. Sometimes he’ll still send me flowers and we’ll do the card thing but the most fun is just watching TV and eating candy!

Since it is my anniversary, I love to go all out on Valetine’s Day. And luckily for me, my hubby NEVER forgets the date!!
Valentine’s day shouldn’t be so significant, because we are supposed to show our loved ones how much they mean to us on a consistant basis. I give and recieve love and gifts regularly, so nothing “special” is planned on February 14th.
Our first Valentine’s day as a married couple! I think we will stay in and have a nice intimate dinner together at home.
