My mother passed away on Valentine’s Day seven years ago, but there’s not a day that I don’t “talk” to her. Holidays seem to be the hardest, but I would think you are going about this the right way — doing something in her honor. My heart aches for you. My heart and prayers go out to you on the loss of your mother. I have also experienced the loss of both my parents in the past few years and, even though they were both quite elderly and I am middle-aged myself, I still feel like a confused child at times from not having them here. Stay strong in your faith; it will help you through this.
