Evelyn H. Lauder founded the Breast Cancer Research Foundation in 1993 as an independent, not-for-profit organization dedicated to funding innovative clinical and translational research. A minimum of 85 cents of each dollar donated to the Foundation goes directly towards breast cancer research and awareness programs. When donating to various Foundations, that is always an important factor to know – what percentage of the money donated is going directly to the fund, and this Foundation has received the highest rating for eight consecutive years.
