Women over 40 beauty, Skincare, Fashion, Fitness and Lifestyle

Have you heard of Cake Plate?  If you live in the Napa Valley region, you know it is the hot spot boutique of fashion, accessories and now 29 Cosmetics.  Owned by Lindsay Kroll and her stylist sister Paige Smith, they’ve created a fun boutique where fashion is served with a side of fabulousness and a heaping portion of fun in downtown Napa Valley.  Don’t live there or don’t have plans to get there any time soon?  Too bad, because Napa should be on everyone’s bucket list, but you can get to Cake Plate via their fun website.

Be sure to check out the 29 Cosmetics line they are now carrying in their store too.  A perfect fit with Cake Plate in Napa Valley.  29 Cosmetics bases their skincare and beauty products on the goodness of grape seed.  And why wouldn’t they – it’s owned by Lydia Mondavi, of the Mondavi wine family.

I’ve used a few of the 29 products and discussed them before on Fab Over 40 and their skincare benefits. Truly wonderful.

Now I’ve had the opportunity to test the  29 Cosmetics Dew Grape Seed Age Protecting Lip Gloss, and few beauty products “wow” me the way this does.  I have been raving to friends about this gloss since first trying it.  I figured it would be like most other glosses – tacky texture, sheer coverage – you know the drill. I was completely taken by surprise! This gloss isn’t like the others that I have tried. It is a gloss that comes in a tube, but the coverage is more full than most glosses and the texture is amazing.  It’s like a soft, creamy, cushiony balm, not a sticky gloss in the least bit.  Chock full of anti-oxidant grape seed extract, it’s nourishing and protecting against environmental damage.  The glosses also contain SPF 15, a must for protecting our lips.  Dew Grape Seed Age Protecting Lip Gloss is a definite must-try for 2012.
