One thing that I’ve learned over the years is that all things are not created equal when it comes to makeup and skincare. I am the first to admit I am always hesitant when it comes to mineral makeup, but again, not all mineral makeup is created equal.
So when I read that Advanced Mineral Makeup was used on the set of Grey’s Anatomy and NCIS I thought to myself, well I’ve seen those shows and their makeup looks good and their faces are not all weird plastic and shiny looking like some mineral makeups can make your face look like. Advanced Mineral Makeup foundation does not contain talc, perfumes, parabens, dyes or preservatives, making it healthy for the skin and ideal for those who suffer from hyperpigmentation, acne, rosacea, and sensitivity.
I had a coworker Kayla test this and since I only work with her twice a week we don’t see each other all that often, but one day when I came into work I said to her “your skin looks really good” with a squinting critical eye. Mind you, Kayla has nice skin already, but something looked different. It looked amazingly flawless. That’s when she said to me – “I’m using that makeup you gave me to test out and I love it!” Here’s what else Kayla had to say about it
“I am very pleased with the new mineral makeup I have been using. It feels very light when I put it on, but covers great. I don’t feel like I have a thick layer of makeup on my face. I have also noticed that I look great at the end of the day; it stays on and is a good base for keeping the rest of my makeup in place. I use the liquid foundation and a little of the powder on top which keeps my face looking shine free. Overall I like the way it feels on my face and how it makes my face look more flawless.”
I guess that just proves my point that all mineral makeup is not created equal either.
