Ladies, we hate to admit it – for many of us our hair just isn’t what it used to be.   It has lost its youthful look.   Really, hair can look youthful?  Absolutely.

As you age your hair can thin and weaken over time, making it look just down right wimpy.    And thank goodness that Shu Uemura Art of Hair has thought of us – because many companies think that once you reach your 30’s you don’t care about beauty.  WRONG!

Shu Uemura Art of Hair is a brand based on the simplicity and purity of Eastern beauty along with the sophistication of Western glamour.   This new addition to their hair line called Prime Plenish is just what you need if your hair has lost its glamour.   This restores volume and strength along with giving your hair luminosity.

Over time your scalp naturally tightens which results in slower activity at the roots causing your hair to weaken and density in the hair changes, giving you thinner, limp hair.  Prime Plenish has Jasmine Essential oil, which is extremely precious in Japanese culture, which promotes hair strength at the cortex and the surface of the hair.

The shampoo is thick and creamy without being heavy and smells wonderful.   With my super-fine hair, it cannot stand up to heavy product and this leaves it thick feeling without being weighted down.   The conditioner is lighter weight than the shampoo, but again moisturizing without being weighted down.

I really love these products!  This past weekend I went to get my haircut and since I wasn’t going to be in NY any time soon, I decided to find a new stylist here at home.   She took one look at my hair and said “you have so much thick hair”!   I had to laugh inside, because although I know I have a lot of hair, it really is baby fine.   I truly think this shampoo and conditioner has given me more volume and lustre.   Maybe now I’ll have that glamorous hair I’ve always wished for!
