I’ve declared March “Hair Month” here at Fab Over 40. We fuss, we muss, we agonize over our hair daily, probably more than anything else in our daily routines. And a bad hair day can make a good day spiral downward. So we’ll be talking about products, styles, and so much more. To kick off the March Hair Month, I’m going to introduce you to a new hair care line by Borghese.
This excellent new hair care line is available now at CVS. It’s like getting salon quality at a much lesser price ranging from $13 – $18. The Italian-inspired products are professional grade, botanical enriched shampoos, conditioners and styling products. They include:
- Venetian Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner
- Modena Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner
- Salermo Silking Hair Oil
- Tuscany Thickening Cream
- Giovanni Volumizing Hair Gel
- Siena Styling Spray
- Siena Finishing Hair Spray
- Milan Volumizing Mousse
- Capri Style-In Conditioner
With names like these don’t you just feel like you want to go to Italy?
I’ve been using the Modena Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner, the Siena Finishing Hair Spray and the Milan Volumizing Mousse. And first off I should say that my husband instantly “stole” the shampoo away from me and put it on his side of the shower away from all of my other shampoos and conditioners. Thief! The Modena line smells wonderful, is nice and thick and creamy and it doesn’t weigh down my hair at all. The Milan Volumizing Mousse surprised me at how much volume it gives my hair. VA-VA-VOOM Volume! My hair feels seriously thicker – like an Adele wig thicker! And the Siena Finishing Hair Spray, to make my hair stay in place but still have movement, then I need to spray from a distance. If you spray it closer to the head, honey, your hair ain’t moving for the day!
The results I’ve had with the pieces from the line that I did use make me want to try more out of the line. I highly recommend the new Borghese hair care line!
The four products mentioned were sent to me for consideration of review.
