Rachel Weisz is such a classic beauty and although she didn’t win the big prize last night, her makeup and hair were impeccable. Here’s how her look was created.
For Rachel Weisz’s Golden Globes look, makeup artist Melanie Inglessis wanted to compliment her elegant Louis Vuitton dress by creating a flawless, timeless look that would enhance her natural beauty.

L’Oreal Infallible Eye Shadow in 800 Bottomless Java
Technique: I started by defining Rachel’s eyes with the pencil along the lash line. I smudged the pencil with YSL Astro Brown to create a softer look. I then used L’Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Bottomless Java and started creating depth in the crease of the eyes. These steps are repeated on the bottom lash line. Always keep the darker color on the outer corner of the eyes. Then a lighter color is used to create highlight under the brow bone and the inner corner of the eye. Next, I slightly dust YSL Ombre Solo 2, a shimmery taupe brown color, all over the eye, below the crease. Lastly, I applied two coats of Eyes to Kill Mascara on top lashes and one coat on bottom.

Styled by Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Celebrity Stylist Ben Skervin. The Look: Very old Hollywood glamour. Ben and Rachel channeled the 1930s with sexy, sleek waves that complement her Louis Vuitton dress.
Here’s how Ben suggests getting the look:
1.Starting with damp hair, apply Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Heat Protect & Shine Spray and blow-dry hair straight.
2.Once hair is dry, tuck hair behind left ear. On that same side, take small sections and curl hair down a 1-inch barrel curling iron. After 20 seconds, remove the iron and pin the section in a roll while it cools. Repeat this process until the whole head is curled.
3.Then, on the untucked side, repeat the same process but with a ½-inch curling iron to give a stronger wave around the face. Once all the hair cools, remove the pinned sections and brush hair into a soft, sexy wave.
4.To keep hair tucked behind the ear, apply a small amount of Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Mega Firm Hold Gel.
5.Lastly, lightly mist with Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Extra Firm Hold Hairspray to hold the style in place, leaving it with a sleek, finished look.
