Cut Down Your Blowdry Time with Simply It

Last year my hairstylist convinced me to grow my hair out. I’ve never in my whole life been able to have long hair because it’s been so baby fine and straight. Straight as paper. Then my hair started changing as I got older. Most people start to have thinning hair – mine got wavier and more full so growing it longer was suddenly an option. I love having longer hair and the different styles you can do with it, but along with the fun comes the not-so-fun. Blow drying takes forever. What used to be probably 5-7 minutes with short hair (and that included style time with a round brush and dryer) it now takes nearly 20 minutes to blowdry my hair and style it with a round brush. That is a lot of time I wasn’t used to spending on my hair for all these years.

It Factor was created to cut down the dry time on your hair. They came out with shampoo and conditioner a little over a year ago and you can read the Fab Over 40 review here. Now they’ve come out with Simply It, a smoothing lotion that you can apply to wet hair that will cut down dry time.  I’ve been testing this and love it for a few reasons; one being that it really has cut down my dry time.  What used to take nearly 20 minutes to dry and style now takes me between 13-14 minutes to dry and round brush style. I love that it saves me those minutes off my beauty routine! Another thing that I love about Simply It is that it can be used with your other styling products.  I first apply Simply It using 2 pumps and spread it through out my hair. Then I can still use my regular styling products and they don’t interfere with one another, a big bonus for me. Simply It doesn’t weigh down the hair, helps with detangling, leaves the hair smooth and soft and also helps with UV, heat and humidity protection. A small dab can be used throughout the day when your hair is dry and it won’t mess with your style -just get those nasty fly-aways under control.
