Max Factor has added a new mascara and a new lipstick to their line.   2000 Calorie Extreme Lash Plumper made my lashes Extremely long!   In fact, when I was trying it out I put it on before I went to dinner with my husband.   He gave me this look and “eyed” me, if you know what I mean – and I gave him a confused look back (typical me!).   I then said “WHAT?”  He actually thought I had put on false eyelashes and had gotten all made up for him.   OK honey.  :)   But take a look at my before and after photos sans any other makeup as well.

And after applying 3 coats of 2000 Calorie on my top lashes.   What do you think?   I think they made them look amazingly long.   Not as much volume as I personally like, but hey, if hubby thinks they’re false eyelashes, they must have made a great impression!  See what others think about the mascara by clicking here. 

I’ve also been trying their new lipstick Vivid Impact Lipcolor.

This lipstick was developed for P&G by makeup artist extraordinaire Pat McGrath and is now her absolute must have lipstick for her backstage work.  Well, I can see why!   I love this lipstick!   It is so very creamy, and the color lasts a long time, and it’s moisturizing as well.    But besides the fact that you can get this for such a reasonable price, as it’s a drugstore brand, it has absolutely no bad taste to it.   That is typically my biggest pet peeve about drugstore lipsticks and why I don’t wear them, but not with this one.    There are 20 colors to choose from and I know a few of them will be making it into my makeup bag.   Definitely try these out and see what others think too.
