The dress looked like the designer took an old chenille bedspread and turned it into a terrible looking gown. She needed to be in sync with Biden’s wife. Her’s was classy.

I thought the dress was beautiful but it certainly didn’t allow a great deal of freedom on the dance floor. Even wedding dresses with trains have a hook to keep the train out of the way. The 1st Lady certainly didn’t get very good advice when choosing such an important gown. Bad choice. To much work to move around in.

I think the fabric was beautiful, but the color and shape of the dress were certainly not flattering, as if she was trying to hide her figure, which is very nice. There surely must have been a better choice for her than this!

The dress is so-so, rather a let-down after all the hype. I do wish Wu would have given some thought to how functional it would be – the dress was not made for walking or dancing. I dare say that the First Lady would have appreciated something that would have given her the freedom to move about.

I am a huge fan of MO’s and usually love her sleek ensembles – but I thought this was shapeless, dull and looked rather like an ill-fitting prom dress. Really disappointed. I thought she might go with the one-shoulder look but the fabric, full skirt and ill fitting bodice just ruined it for me. Oh well, it’s only a dress!
