I love this shimmer powder because it's a nice warm color - some shimmers are either too pink or too bronzy or even too silvery. This also is a somewhat subtle shimmer powder. Even though they call it the Red Color Collection, I didn't feel there were too many red pieces - in fact I felt there was more red in some of the packaging than in the actual product. Some of the colors leaned toward the plums instead of red. There is a bright red gloss and lipstick, but several other shades to choose from if red isn't your thing. I know bright red is not my thing.

I had a hard time warming up to these items and have been toying with not reviewing them. Too much red for my taste. The shimmer powder is nice, but I have a full collection of shimmer powders. Sometimes I wonder how many I need [wink].

I will give Estee Lauder one thing: It's not your grandmother's makeup company anymore! I await each new collection with enthusiasm.
