    Kari, this brought tears to my eyes – so much so that I had to wait a day to leave this comment. Isn’t it true how much our parents stay with us? Every day of our lives.

    I hope my father was invited to the party.

    Typically I would ramble on about mom, but it was just too difficult that day. She died last year about a week before her birthday. About a month before she died, she had a dream that my dad and their long time friend Jim asked her to come up to heaven because they were having such a fun time and she should join the party! I hope they’re all partying!
