Elizabeth Arden Classics

I love the classics – from classic modern furniture, to classic clothing, classic movies and more, they are a part of my daily life.  Elizabeth Arden, which is celebrating over 100 years of beauty, shares with us their Elizabeth Arden classics too.

Miss Arden’s original mission was to address the total beauty needs of women around the world – with groundbreaking products that offer the ultimate beauty experience, encompassing luxury, product innovation, quality and service.  This mission still holds true today.

Here are some of their classics that are adored the world over:

  • Red Lips – As classic as the iconic red door, a red lip is glamorous in any formula.   From the Color Intrigue Effects in Poppy Cream – a long lasting color with vitamins A, C and E with aloe, to the Exceptional Lipstick in Red Diamond – which is a creamy long-wear with full coverage, to Ceramide Ultra Lipstick in Rouge – infused with Volulip for plumping, comfort and moisturizing color.   One of these red formulas will suit your style.
  • Ceramide Gold Ultra Restorative Capsules Intensive Treatment for Face and Throat – Created in 1990 and was the first in single dose skincare.  The CLX Complex delivers essential lipids to strengthen skin’s barrier against the signs of time. Vitamin E, Borage Seed Extract for soothing, calming and protection.  Retinyl palmitate and retinyl linoleate to smooth lines and wrinkles and give skin a firmer look by supporting skin’s natural collagen.  I also LOVE the foundation in this formula and get compliments on my skin when I wear it!
  • Prevage Face Advanced Anti-Aging Serum – The anti-aging formula with Idebenone, protects and transforms the skin. Check out the Prevage review here.
  • Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant – Have you opened a magazine in, oh, the last XX years (fill in the blank yourself) as this has been touted for decades as the go-to cream for models, makeup artists and beauty experts alike.  They can’t live without it! Created in 1930 by Miss Arden herself, this balm was named after a loyal client used it to treat her child’s skinned knee and “eight hours later” the skin looked “all better”.  The formula remains unchanged all these years and contains petrolatum, a skin-soothing beta-hydroxy and vitamin E.
  • Smoky Eyes Powder Pencil – A soft, powdery pencil liner with a smudge tip on the opposite end.  Create beautifully lined eyes in one of seven shades – or try them all!
