Artemis Woman is working with the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation with 2% of all profits generated by Artemis Woman products going to the foundation.  Artemis Woman co-founder, Lisa Kable, had breast cancer at the very young age of 30.  The company has been committed to breast cancer treatment screenings since its inception in 2002.

This PINK Heel Smoother is available at Wal-Mart and Walgreens and online at www.artemiswoman.com for $19.99.   Now ladies – we know that these are tough economic times.  We all seem to be hurting in varying degrees, and we sometimes let beauty take a back seat in times like these.   Well, instead of spending $30 upwards on pedicures, let’s take it home this time.

I have tested this Heel Smoother and I do like it.  However, I have very, very dry feet and have even mentioned before that when I’ve gotten pedicures that I’ve had my lady working on my feet cringe.   It’s not that I don’t take care of them, I do, and I lotion them nearly every night.   I swear it must be a hereditary thing because I remember as a child my mother constantly had dry feet as well.

With that in mind, I would definitely switch up to the Heel Smoother Optimum in my situation.   The regular Heel Smoother did a nice job, but because I have extremely dry feet, it took a lot of work to get them smooth.  But, if your feet are not quite so bad and just need a “touch up” now and then – the regular one is perfect.

The Optimum version is $39.99 and comes with a charging stand and 4 tips.   Either model you choose, just think of all the long term savings you will have by doing pedicures at home, and remember the great cause you are contributing to.
